Seems high: That dose is about 1400 mg per dose which translates into 90 mg/kg per day. this is on the high end of treating resistant strep pneumo for otitis media. Definitely not appropriate dose for strep or pneumonia

It is: My dosing would be 10 ml 2X/d which is adequate for strep. Some germs/conditions would require more, but not this one.
