Amoxicillin: It is not safe to give antibiotic to a young child without being checked by a doctor, but because of bad weather you can call your pediatrician & ask his advice based on the child condition, he will tell if it is ok to use it & how much to give based on the symptoms & the weigt of the child. The avarage dose for a 2 year old is 200 mg every 12 hours. But it can differ due to diagnosis & weight.

Yes: Drugs are generally effective 1-2 years past their expiry dose. It sounds like a good plan in view of the weather. Make sure they are yours and you are not allergic to PCN. What are you taking them for? All the best and stay safe.
