30-60 minutes: Of course, it depends on your goals, but 30-60 minutes is a good time frame for most. Speed and terrain (flat vs. Hills) will determine the intensity of your workout.

45 minutes: Recent studies suggest that the benefits of brisk walking (difficulty singing) pl;plateau at 45 minutes. Best to spread the 45 minutes out over the course of the day rather than do it at one time and then sit the rest of the time.
