A member asked:

I'm fifteen and how should i ask the yearly checkup doctor for my first hiv test?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bravely: Say, "It is time for me to have my first HIV test." Smile. Be PROUD. Your physician MUST do this and MUST respect your privacy. It's no longer your parents' business. Nowadays, physicians won't lecture you on what you may have done. EVERY teen does stuff; it's pat of growing up and learning to choose. With being an adult come new joys, and new responsibilities. Embrace being a MAN!!!
