A member asked:

I need to go for my yearly cardiologist checkup. i was instructed to bring with me the result of all applicable tests. what would the applicable test be. do a doctor need to refer me to the lab or can i make an appointment myself?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Labs: Suggest taking any lab reports and ekgs as well as any hospital records you might have for the last year that were ordered by a doctor other than your cardiologist. Your cardiologist may not have results from tests that another doctor ordered. Your doctor will order necessary lab work. You cannot make your own appointment. Hope this helps!!
