Hi doctors. i exposed hiv 3 months ago. i tested a gen4 hiv test ag/ab combo at 47 and 79 days. i also did a rt pcr test 20cps/ml. and all my test are negative. i have many symtomps and i'm worrying that my last result will change to positive.

HIV test reliability: HIV testing overrules all other factors No matter how high the risk at the time of exposure, and no matter how typical the symptoms, negative test results -- especially with the different kinds of tests you have had -- prove with 100% certainty you do nothave HIV. You should not have any more HIV tests. See a doctor if your symptoms continue; they are not due to HIV. Good luck.
