Yes: Its surprising how safe domestic pets can be - just make sure if the skin surface has been broken, that you cleanse the area thoroughly and if this happened in a dirty environment, perhaps think about how up to date your Dtap vaccine is. Dogs are very safe in the human world for the most part, make sure if the area becomes red and swollen later you see the GP for a quick look and advice
