Depends on why swollen: The cracklings in the ear may still represent fluid even if CT didn't show any. Sometimes this may represent a response to allergens which may also lead to enlarged lymphoid tissues. The swelling will decrease once the cause is isolated and treated. In that regard it is best to talk to your physician.
