Macrobid vs cipro (ciprofloxacin): You were presumably switched for a reason. Maybe the laboratory reported back that the bug that was infewcting you was not sensitive -i,e, was not destroyed by cipro (ciprofloxacin) but was by macrobid. You should speak to your doc about why he choose to switch your antibiotics.
