No no indication: Macrobid ( nitrofurntoin ) is used in urinary tract inceptions , you should not take any medication on your own , need rx and your physician supervision , self administration is dangerous.

Yes: Macrobid is in a different class of antibiotic from penicillin (penicillin class) and Cipro (ciprofloxacin) (quinolone class).
