Time for an exam: Severe pain that is persisting 2 weeks after a traumatic event (your fall) warrants a trip to the doctor. If nothing else you should get an examination of your shoulder to check for a possible rotator cuff tear, and an x-ray to make sure nothing is broken.

Time for exam: I agree. Call your ortho and have it checked out. Exam, x-ray and possible MRI for full evaluation.
