Neck or shoulder: You can get similar symptoms from an impingement on either your neck or shoulder itself. Best thing to do is see a physiatrist and get examined as there are special tests that can be done to determine which it is. If the exam doesn't lead to answers and MRI would be the next step. Heart problems can be referred to the left arm (angina) so if you have risk factors for heart disease see an md.
