MRI: I wouldn't recommend an MRI unless there is a specific indication (outside of the diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder). Take care.

BPD: Good for you to start therapy. There is no reason at this time to get an MRI (of the brain?) if you mean in connection with BPD. However, talk about why you'd like an MRI in therapy. Also, let your primary doctor know if you have any physical symptoms that would justify an MRI. Best wishes.
