Proper diagnosis: Ddd,djd of thoracic spine shouldn't cause headache or jaw pain. I recommend consulting a neurologist to pinpoint the cause of your symptoms and the insurance company is more apt to grant permission for an MRI of the cervical spine if the neurologist advises one. Treatment options may include physical therapy with traction and/or pain management referral.
