A member asked:

The mri show ischemic demyelination secondary to small vessel disease. what cause this and what type or treatment are?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

My interpretation: Will answer generically, and state that you could have a disorder termed Binswanger's disease, which is most often associated with hypertension. Such MRI changes may be seen with head trauma, cigarette smoking, aging, etc.
