GB???: Gallbladder can cause pain on the left side as well on the right side, so GB attack will be my first choice. she could be having pain in the cartilage part of the rib, costochondritis .could be from minor trauma, or from a bra with a hard wires. diabetes and GB are not a very good combination. make sure she stay in touch with her PCP, or her surgeon, to prevent any major complication.
