Ulcer?: In people whose gallbladder is out it is still possible to get right upper quadrant pain under the rib cage. You should see your medical doctor or the surgeon who took out the gall bladder to get a further work up. Would recommend liver function tests and an ultrasound of the liver and common bile duct. Ultimately you should see a doctor who actually knows your medical history and can examine you.
