Unlikely. : Gallbladder pain is usually right upper quadrant associated with meals. Left lower quadrant pain is very unlikely to be gallbladder related. Depending on your evaluation to date, you may want to discuss this with your doctor prior to surgery. There are many reasons for abdominal pain and you may need further studies prior to proceeding. Although you may have 2 separate problems, they may be relat.
