Good afternoon. in the last week i have got a prickly sensation on right side under my rib cage. you cannot feel anything of see any swelling or lumps. not gall bladder as i had mine out 40 year ago. it comes and goes all day?

This rather vague symptom probably is caused by irritable superficial nerves in the abdominal wall. These usually resolve on their own. In the absence of pain, tenderness or any digestive symptoms, I would hold off consulting a physician or surgeon and give the symptoms a few more days of observation.
