History of c diff makes me stay away from antibios, but i have an infectn after root canal. would taking flagyl, alone, be safe & enough to cure it?

Tooth infection: An infected tooth needs to be treated by a dentist. An antibiotic alone will not cure an infected tooth, the problem needs to be treated. Flagyl is not typically used for oral, infections. Do not self diagnose or self prescribe antibiotics. See a dentist ASAP.

Not recommended: c diff can recur after treatment with metronidazole (flagyl). See your doctor for consultation before taken any antibiotics.
