Had root canal for pain in tooth, possible abscess. have taken penicellen and flagyl , pain came back, headaches, gummy eyes, dizziness low energy ?

Normal?: Within certain limits your symptoms are normal. By the way if you had a root canal because you had pain you had an infection and therefore it is an abscess. Flagyl will do nothing for bacteria causing the problem. You need penicillin, Keflex or Cleocin (clindamycin phosphate) type drugs. It may take time before you see improvement. You did not get this overnight and it will not be cured overnight.

Needs evalutaion...: Your symptoms are not entirely consistent with a tooth abscess, so there could be multiple conditions going on. It would be wise to seek evaluation of the potential tooth problem by an endodontist, followed by your physican. Tooth infections dont result in eye infections, dizziness, or low energy routinely, but can have recurring pain and headaches.
