Unlikely: Hemorrhoids usually cause bright red painless blood and not clots. Maroon blood suggests bleeding somewhere higher in the GI track. It is also something that needs to be checked, this is especially true in someone on Motrin as yourself. If you have any symptoms of lightheadedness or weakness you should go to an UC or ER. Otherwise, call you PCP or GI doctor for an appointment.
