It depends...: Estimates based on mid parental height are predictors, but not perfect. (mom+5 inches + dad) /2 at this point the most important thing is his stage of puberty as this will determine the time he has left to grow.

Hard to say: The genetic height from a parental estimate is 5'10, but if his bone maturity is that of a 13 yo his projected height by growth chart could be 6'3-4. An x-ray of his wrist and hand could give you his bone maturity, and a growth chart is available from the cdc site so you can plot his progress. Seek www.Cdc.Gov/growthcharts.
