A member asked:

Is it normal for my little brother to be taller than me at an early age? i'm a 16 year old male, and he is 3 inches taller than me at age 13.

Stature/body height: Our statures or body heights depend on multiple factors including gene, birth height, time of puberty, diet and exercise. It is not unusual that little brother is taller but your height is not final until you reach an adult age. You could be just a late bloomer.

Normal?: Normal? It is what it is. For your family this will be normal. Height is determined by genetics. My oldest son is seven inches taller than his brother. Genetics controls this.
