Based on information provided, assume it is soft tissue strain. Could be muscular or tendon. Swinging a heavy weight can stress the joints and soft tissues. Try anti-inflammatories, heat, massage, and stretching, and see if that relieves symptoms. If persists or worsens, then can have it evaluated.
