Depends: Near the distal biceps is the median nerve. Injury to that area can potentially injure that nerve or swelling puts pressure on that nerve. A test called emg/ncv can identify how well that nerve is functioning and help determine the cause. Stop at your local physical medicine and rehab or neurologist doctors office for more details.
