2 months ago felt pop/pain in elbow. pain persists (flexion/supination). believe distal biceps tendon to be partial torn. hook test presents pain, no full rupture, tendon feels thinner compared to left arm. surgical/nonsurgical options at this point?

You should see an orthopedist for this persistent problem, surgical repair may be necessary.

I think its a mistake to wait too long before having an expert assessment of the damage to that tendon. If you haven't already been evaluated and advised by an orthopedic surgeon, do so. If surgery is your best option, don't delay too long to get the best results. There is no harm in obtaining a second opinion.
