Esophagus test came back normal and no narrowing. but i had a little acid and bacteria. the doctor gave antibiotics with panzaprozale to take 2x a day. i haven't been able to eat solid food for about a month. swallowing problem happens in chest?

Dysphagia: You probably have H.Pylori infection, complete the course of antibiotics, if you continue to have the problem, con sider spasm in the esophagus, follow up with your gastroenterologist who will guide you with further management.

Dysphagia: The swallowing problem may be intermittent esophageal spasm or it could also be achalasia since your endoscopy did not demonstrate any fixed obstruction. This should be discussed with your gastroenterologist or get a second opinion from another gastroenterologist. Calcium blocker medication is often prescribed to treat spasm of the esophagus and achalasia can be operated upon.
