Magnesium: You may be magnesium deficient. Magnesium is critical for proper nerve & muscle function. Nexium (esomeprazole) depletes body stores of magnesium. Nexium (esomeprazole) is a potent acid reducer. Get some magnesium chloride flakes and make some magnesium oil. Get a 4 oz glass spray bottle and spray 6-8 sprays on your arms, neck, legs or trunk 2-4x/d. Give this tx 4-8 weeks to get your magnesium levels back up.

Swallowing problem: You have had upperGI study w/o resolution of your problem along with taking antacids. You state you have a problem swallowing solids, not liquid, food. That says to me that you might have an esophageal stricture. You can get a barium swallow, an X-Ray exam, which might demonstrate this dysfunction. If that is present there is a.surgical solution.
