Possibility of false: negative for acute appendicitis of a properly performed CT scan of abdomen/pelvis with contrast is very small, and even smaller you had two in a row. Have your doctor investigate other causes of your symptoms.

Usually accurate: CT scan is quite accurate for detecting appendicitis.Depending on the technique used, the diagnostic accuracy of CT in acute appendicitis ranges from 93 to 98 percent. False-negative interpretation of CT images in acute appendicitis depends a lot on expertise of the attending radiologist.
