Treat and be seen.: Wounds will bleed and bandages will become saturated.......but, ten days is a little too long to be having this issue. If you can't get in to see the surgeon today, you will need to reinforce the bandage with new bandages. Keep the foot elevated higher than your heart as much as you can. Stay off of it until you can be seen. Try a little more compression with the new reinforced bandage.
