I recently had foot surgery and my stitches are starting to itch, should i be concerned or is this normal?

See below: This is often normal, but you should have your surgeon check them to make sure you are not developing an infection.

Stitches: Stitches commonly itch as healing occurs. If they are dissolvable they can turn slight red near the skin. If there is any pus contact your doctor immediately. Otherwise i wish you a speedy recovery.

Normal: It is very common to have itching near or on sutures or incision.
