Depends on weight: The major risk factor for developing type 2 diabetes is weight or more accurately BMI. Eating fresh fruit (e.g. an apple) is healthier than drinking a glass of apple juice (fewer calories and more fiber) but you can overdo fruit which is high in fructose as well. Watching your weight and eating a moderate amount of fresh fruits and fresh vegetables daily is a good strategy to follow
