I am 67 yrs.old. bloodwork a month ago showed pre diabetes a-1c was 6.1. triglycerides high at 294. i have lost 10 lbs since then . cut out sugar and fat as much as i can. i have been eating fruit will that keep my a-1c and glucose elevated?

It really depends on which fruits you are eating and the amount at one time. Congrats on losing the 10lbs-this will certainly help with your blood sugar control. Some fruits are higher in carbohydrate than others. It may be helpful for you to see a dietician or nutritionist to go over theses dietary details with you so you know which fruits to avoid, or eat in very small amounts. Good luck!
