Something else: Most bug bites leave an itchy lesion and do not spread like what you described. It is also difficult to tell whether a lesion is a bug bite or not without any ID on the actual insect. If this problem persists for more than a week or gets worse, consider seeing a dermatologist. Having said that, rarely certain bug bites can transmit a bacteria ->spreading.
