A member asked:

I have clavicle fracture and doctor said i need surgery. what risks during surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fracture: Every surgical procedure has risks along with benefits and these vary from case to case. If your surgeon is recommending surgery then the benefits outweigh the risks! A common risk of any of any operation is infection. A clavicle fracture healing without operative management may lead to non-union, bony malformation, pain and other complications down the road.
