Clavicle fracture: This will depend on how the fracture fragments are positioned with respect to one another, and to the figure-8 sling's success in reducing movement across the fracture. An xray will help your treating physician determine whether the fracture is likely to heal on its own.

Clavicle Healing: In general over 90 percent of all fractures of the clavicle heal with non operative treatment. There a few fracture patterns that have a lower chance of healing but that does not mean it will not heal without surgery. The average healing time for a clavicle fracture is some time between 6 to 12 weeks. No reason to be concerned about healing at 2 weeks.
