No lumps with Botox: Botox relaxes muscles that are hyperactive and so wrinkles caused by those muscles are smoothed. It is not a dermal filler such as juvederm which is injected directly into wrinkles. Be careful with Botox in the forehead because sometimes those wrinkles are the result of muscles working to hold up a sagging brow; in that case the price of reducing the wrinkles may be brow droop.

No: Botox injections can result in temporary bumps due to the injection. This lasts only a few minutes. Bruising, although rare, can occur.
