Depends: The tonsils have nothing to do with post-nasal drips. Thus your problem will likely last as long as the cause of the problem remains untreated. In your case, hay fever is the likely reason but reflux and sinus infection can cause a sensation of postnasal drips as well. Since Flonase has not worked, you need to consult an allergist.
