Redness of the smal. 2 mms tonsil crypt, is almost blood red. the rest of tonsil is normal with slight irritation. bad post nasal drip. never smoked?

Can't be certain: One can think of infection, are you in bleeding from a blood vessel. You don't describe blood. The redness suggest a lot of vascular congestion. This could be a large vein. You need to discuss this with your physician.

Inflamed tonsils: You really haven't posed a question .You have made a series of statements. However, if you are concerned about your tonsil, you should be seen by an ENT doctor who can examine you carefully and assess whether there is a problem. Most the time, mild inflammation or red discoloration is of no major concern. You should not be very worried about this, but see MD.
