Post nasal drip: Post nasal drip can come from allergies or sinus problems, and bacterial growth causes the "stones" (soft cheesy material) sometimes seen on the tonsils. It is not good to try to remove the stones; you risk infection by injuring the surrounding area, & without addressing post-nasal drip, they will return. Your doc can help find cause of the drip, and guide treatment based on cause.
