Yes and No.: Yes to the first question and No to the second. Obtain a TSH test for hypothyroidism since that is a frequent cause of hair loss.

See doctor: Daily alcohol use can cause dehydration and hair loss. There are other reasons for hair loss so best to see your pcp to get a proper diagnosis. Be honest about all meds you take, alcohol/drug/tobacco use and current life stresses. Good luck.

Yes and no.: Among the many problems that go with chronic alcohol abuse, dehydration can be counted as one. But you haven't said how much you are using, so it is not clear. However, hair falling out is not really one of the problems; stress can cause this, and may also be involved in alcohol abuse.
