Hx of migraines. consuming any kind of alcohol post covid infection has caused the back, l side of my head to have headaches. however when i went on vacay- i didnt have any and i drank there as well. what could be causing this? is this concerning?

The severity and duration of the headache and whether it is a throbbing headache would be valuable information. Given your history of migraines, the headache may be related. Post COVID though fatigue, respiratory, cardiac conditions and headaches may occur. Decrease alcohol intake, stay well hydrated and discuss with your PCP whether NSAIDs may be used. Watch for signs of post COVID syndrome.
