Don't: You can do more harm than good. This isn't a DIY project. You may already be dealing with an infection. Go see someone with training and experience, a Dentist.

Abscess?: May be an abscess. Could be a problem if you self treat. You may want to try warm saline rinses and OTC pain meds. Best solution is to see the wisdom tooth expert. For best results with wisdom teeth, make sure you are evaluated and treated by a board certified oral & maxillofacial surgeon.
