Dental question. i have a growing wisdom tooth on the top right. on the side of it going upwards to my gums there is a hard bump. it had a head too like its a pimple. it was big and hurting, now its going down but head still there. what could it be?

The swelling associated with an impacted wisdom tooth could be due to infection. It is possibly due to food impaction and this swelling could recur until the wisdom tooth is extracted or has erupted into it proper space with right angulation. See a proper specialist for an eval.

From your question it is not clear if the hard object you are describing is o the tooth or on the gum. Please see our Dentist or a wisdom tooth expert, an Oral Surgeon, for a proper examination and possible imaging. Your problem could be anything from an anomalous tooth to a gum infection and anything in between.
