Swollen gums: It is quite common for there to be some sensitivity or tenderness in the tissues when wisdom teeth are erupting. Swelling or prolonged pain can be a sign that there is not enough space for the wisdom tooth to erupt completely or of infection. See a dentist and get this checked out. It is possible that your wisdom tooth may need extraction
