They do.: Both are used for high blood pressure. Eplerinone is specifically used for high BP due to aldosterone excess which is not the usual kind of high BP. Ramipril inhibits renin which also results in some lowering of Aldo. This class of drug - ACE inhibitor is used for most highBp. The side effects -especially high potassium can be more of a problem with both. If you are on these suggest expert f/u

Aldo block : Eplerenone is an aldosterone blocking agent and will prevent actions of Aldo. Ramipril doesn't directly effect aldosterone but is an agent on the renin angiotensin pathway. Their interaction may be an enhanced high potassium the most common in patients with kidney disease. Hope this helps
