A member asked:

How long would it take for fludrocortisone to suppress natural aldosterone production? and would it return to normal after years on the drug?

Depends: Fludrocortisone immediately suppresses a person's aldosterone production, and is often given because of adrenal insufficiency. Aldosterone production would resume (eventually) only if there is no adrenal insufficiency
