I took lactulose breathe test and showed i had sibo. doc prescribed xifaxan (rifaximin). i heard sibo is likely to reoccur. how can i prevent it from coming back?

Nothing to do: What were your symptoms and did they improve after treatment? There are a number of potential causes but nothing for you to do to prevent recurrence. Should it recur with symptoms of diarrhea or bloating, another course of therapy may be indicated.
