Drug allergy: Isn't generic, meaning if you're allergic to one drug then u r allergic to all others. Also drug allergy is often confused with adverse drug reactions,so a patient can't tell if it is a true drug allergy or just an adverse reaction. If you are allergic to xifaxan, (rifaximin) other antibiotics are there to use. Also ask your doctor about probiotics, and elemental diet to treat your condition, best wishes
